Amb. Henry John Omaku fcim, (Giwan Doma), Nigeria High Commissioner to the Republic of Sierra Leone, wish to on behalf of myself, my family and all Nigerians in Sierra Leone, felicitate with His Excellency, Brigadier General Julius Maada Bio (Rtd) President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, the government and people of Sierra Leone on the occasion of the country's 61 years independence anniversary.
As a people, Sierra Leoneans have come this far despite diversity and attained this feat with the sacrifices of their heroes and heroines to keep the nation as one and the people unified.
Mr. President since taking over the mantle of leadership have shown dynamism, focus, efficiency and candour in the way he have piloted the affairs of this great country. His purposeful leadership, steadfastness, ingenuity and genuine commitment to the socioeconomic development of his people have made him a model and a reference point in the African continent. It is my belief that Sierra Leoneans will continue to give Mr. President the required support to enable him succeed.
Building a great nation requires the support of everyone, I therefore urge all the people of Sierra Leone to rekindle hope in their country. The country might not have attained the height the people expect but it is also true that it is not where it was years back.
Be rest assured of the support and commitment of the government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria towards building a peaceful and economic viable country.
Long Live the Republic of Sierra Leone
Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
