Nigeria Through The High Commisioner Assures Commitment To The Economic Growth Of Sierra Leone

The Nigeria High Commissioner to the Republic of Sierra Leone His Excellency, Amb. Henry John Omaku, fcim (Giwan Doma) has once again reiterated the commitment of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the economic growth of Sierra Leone. Amb. Omaku gave the assurance today while speaking at the commissioning of the newly constructed All Petroleum Products (APP-SL) facilities in Kissy, Eastern province of the country. He said, Nigeria will continue to support Sierra Leone in it drive towards economic prosperity.

The Nigeria High Commissioner commended the Sierra Leone President His Excellency, Brigadier General Julius Maada Bio (Rtd) for his resilience in bettering the lives of his people and for providing the enabling environment for businesses to thrive. He said deserted slum in Kissy Dockyard which has been transformed into an engine of economic growth and job creation in Sierra Leone will no doubt go a long way in improving the socioeconomic status of the country. He further assures the people that more Nigerian investors are coming in to the country to invest.

The commissioning of the new APP-SL edifice was performed by His Excellency, President Julius Maada Bio as one of the largest private sector investments in the downstream petroleum sector in Sierra Leone.
