NANS-SIERRA LEONE ON A COURTESY VISIT TO THE NIGERIA HIGH COMMISSION

The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students' (NANS) Sierra Leone Chapter today were at the Nigeria High Commission Sierra Leone on a courtesy visit. The visit according to its President, Comr. Prince John Ogar was to familiarize themselves with the High Commissioner and to officially welcome him to the Republic of Sierra Leone. The students said they will continue to consult the Commission on important matters relating to Nigerian Students in Sierra Leone.

The visit provided the forum for the High Commissioner His Excellency, Amb. Henry John Omaku fcim, (Giwan Doma) to relate with the students' leadership. Amb. Omaku expressed satisfaction with the good reports about the students across the schools and charged the leadership of NANS to continue to do more in ensuring unity and welfare of Nigerian Students in Sierra Leone.

The High Commissioner also emphasized the Commission's commitment to continue working with the association to ensure its objectives are realized and the overall interest of Nigerians in Sierra Leone are protected.
